How to Create a Simple Invoice

This procedure explains how to create a simple invoice for a business transaction.
Materials Needed:

Steps:
Open the Template
Start by opening the invoice template on your computer. You can use Microsoft Word or Excel. There are pre-made templates that you can use.Add Your Business Details
At the top of the invoice, enter the name of your business, address, phone number, and email.Add Customer Information
Below your business details, write the name of the customer, their address, and contact details. Make sure the information is correct.List Products/Services
In the middle of the invoice, list the products or services provided. Include a description, quantity, unit price, and total price for each item or service.Calculate Total
After listing all items, add up the totals for each one to get the final amount. Don’t forget to include any taxes or discounts.Include Payment Terms
At the bottom of the invoice, mention the payment due date and any other payment instructions, like the method of payment.Save and Send
Save the invoice file on your computer. Then, you can print it or send it to the customer via email.
